I've lived out here fourteen years. It was a place that provided me and my wife with a place to live, cheap. A chance to own our own home. Low income housing, sort of. I've seen people come and go for different reasons. I paid off the trailer pretty quick so it was just paying utilities and lot rent. Trash and sewage low cost. The park was sold to a large corporation, which I understand business is business, however, they have been raising the price of lot rent steadily every 6 months. No changes, no improvements. They moved in trailers. Tore down some pretty rough ones but sell the newer ones for top dollar. Charge us for water usage. I think they think that charging more and more will bring in a better class of people and drive us "low income" people out. Maybe. Its brought more problems than anything. Vandalism, stealing...no one gives a squat. They haven't fixed the roads, they don't call a plow in the winter like a few years ago when we had a 5 ft drift across our driveway....I could go on and on but I've gone on enough. It ain't worth the money we pay. I'm lucky to have some pretty good neighbours but how long before they move out. I have worked all these years and just can't make quite enough to move out into a house and own my own property but I look for the opportunity all the time. Low income housing.... They plan on raising rent again and again....its all about the money....and hope that you don't get robbed or vandalized like your power being shut off at 3 am by some punk when the electrical boxes have been left wide open and you miss work because of it...just sayin'....
