Matt got my car in when it was convenient for ME. Fixed it within an hour and so far it is running great. Matt and the staff were very friendly to me and the entire room full of people that were there. I will definitley be recommending him.
I love working here it so much fun plus he been my family's mechanic for years. Matt has never steered us wrong!
Can you give negative stars? Like below there are people in my family that always go to Matt's, the funny thing is that things keep going wrong. How is this place still in business, it is because he does cheap work, so people think they are getting a great deal...however a month or so down the road something else goes wrong. Never, and I repeat never go to him for electrical work on your car, looks like I am not the only one that has had trouble with this. Supposedly I needed my whole car rewired, but low and behold after Matt's did the work, I have more trouble then when I brought my car in. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, even if it is a little more expensive. While there are not alot of good places in Portland, look at Places in Berne, or Albany, there are actually honest car shops still around, unfortunatly Matt's Garage is not one of them.
MAJOR RIP OFF....they gave us an estimate and claim to find other problems without informing us first....a $300 charge that became a $800 charge....bad business.
Very happy with Matt's always do a great job been my mechanic for years has done me right and does great work especially like that he will pick me up so that I don't have to walk or try to find a ride
